The Best Drives in Pennsylvania

Summer is the perfect time to roll down the windows and go on a scenic drive. Pennsylvania has beautiful nature views and charming towns that make it the perfect place to take a drive. Here are some of the best drives to take in the Keystone State.

Delaware River Valley

This 19-mile drive from Easton to Mt. Bethel winds along the Delaware River and provides gorgeous views of luscious farmland. You can take the drive a step further, by stopping to wander along the Tekening Hiking Trails and witness breathtaking cliff views.

Gateway to the Endless Mountains

Once considered “one of America’s most scenic drives” by National Geographic, this 38-mile journey from Tunkhannock to Dushore showcases the Endless Mountains and the Susquehanna River. The mountains offer lots of hiking trails, and the Bird Song Winery near Dushore provides wine samples

High Plateau

From Snow Shoe to Renovo, the High Plateau route resides alongside the Allegheny Ridge. Throughout the 46-mile drive, you can expect picturesque scenes of the Sproul State Forest, where you might see deer, bears, and elk.

We at Rentschler Chevrolet are proud to be located in the lovely city of Slatington, Pennsylvania. Before heading out on your drive, stop by our service department to make sure your vehicle is ready for the long drive.
