Pay attention to this one, off-road enthusiasts. Chevrolet has revealed the first-ever Silverado ZR2 Bison, a rugged off-roading machine that adds even more features to the already impressively capable Silverado ZR2.
Built in partnership with American Expedition Vehicles, the 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 Bison is the first of its kind, inspired by the popularity of the Colorado ZR2 Bison. With loads of exclusive off-roading equipment, it sets a high new bar for adventuring capability.
Standard and exclusive features include 33-inch Goodyear® Wrangler Territory Mud Terrain tires wrapped around black 18-inch AEV wheels, unique hot-stamped boron steel skid plates, and AEV-stamped front and rear steel bumpers with heavy-duty recovery points.
Like the regular Silverado 1500 ZR2, the ZR2 Bison is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 and rides on exceptional Multimatic® DSSV spool-valve dampers. But unlike the regular ZR2, the ZR2 Bison has an even greater front approach and departure angle.
“The Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Bison is the ultimate half-ton truck for backcountry adventures,” said AEV CEO and Founder Dave Harriton. “The Silverado ZR2 Bison checks all the boxes — robust stamped steel bumpers, complete underbody protection, a factory-tuned off-road suspension, and locking differentials front and rear. We are confident off-road enthusiasts are going to love this truck.” Visit Rentschler Chevrolet in Slatington, Pennsylvania, to learn more about the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 lineup and the awesome ZR2 Bison off-road pickup!
