Chevrolet’s Silverado lineup of pickup trucks has long been trusted by workers to get the job done. Carhartt, another Detroit-based brand, has been producing reputable workwear since 1889. It’s only natural the two brands would team up; in fact, they collaborated in 2017 for the Silverado HD Carhartt Edition shown at the SEMA Show. Now, the two companies have announced the production version — the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado HD Carhartt Edition.
Built Off the LTZ
The Carhartt Edition model will use the Silverado HD LTZ Crew Cab as a base, with added special features. The Carhart model boasts modifications like the Z71 Off-Road Package, Hill Descent Control, new skid plates, and Rancho shocks. Drivers get 20-inch all-terrain tires and exclusive Carhartt badging on their trucks.
Aside from the badging, the Carhartt Edition will be exclusively available in the Mosaic Black Metallic exterior color with Carhartt Gold highlights. The rest of the truck is styled around the unique tonneau cover, vent hood, and tow hooks, as well as a body-color grille surround and bumpers.
Want to get behind the wheel of this tough truck? It’s expected to arrive in dealerships during the fall of 2020. Of course, you can always schedule a test drive and take the Silverado HD LTZ for a spin at Rentschler Chevrolet.
